I am often asked why I made the decision to apply to serve as a Peace Corps Volunteer. The answer to that can get pretty complex, but it all boils down to my desire and longing to help others. Sure, there are many outlets through which I could do so, but combining this with my passion for world travel and intercultural experiences makes Peace Corps, at this point in my life, the best decision for me. 

I plan to embrace the difficulties and rewards that this experience will undoubtedly bring. I plan to remain positive. I plan to keep in mind that any experience is what you make it.
